Who Are We

Compet Consulting is a Colorado-based consulting business which specializes in competency-based approaches to individual and organizational effectiveness.  We help organizations articulate their vision, values, and goals.  We also help them analyze jobs, determine the critical competencies individuals need to be effective in their organizations, and develop elements of an integrated human resource system (hiring/selection, training, performance documentation, and career development). 

Richard Barnhart is the owner and President of Compet Consulting.  He has over thirty years of management and consulting experience.  He has established an extensive network of other consultants, and uses those contacts to build project teams that can address specific client needs.
