Compet Consulting specializes in a competency-based approach to improving individual and organizational effectiveness. We help organizations articulate their vision, values, and goals. Our approach is focused on developing an integrated system to select, develop and train outstanding team leaders and team members that will achieve your business goals. 

GOALS:

  • To help leaders become more effective by developing greater self-awareness, recognizing their own strengths and development needs, and setting and achieving learning goals.
  • To help leaders make their businesses more successful by constantly assessing organizational performance, identifying areas where work is needed, and resolving those areas of need.
  • To provide business leaders with a network of resources that can be utilized to support individual and organizational growth.

We are networked to a large group of consultants, and routinely contract with individuals who have the specialized skills we need for a given project. This enables us to offer a wide range of services, while providing customers with the highest quality service at a fair price.

CORE ACTIVITIES :
  • Orientation Seninar - An 8 hour seminar developed to introduce you to the continuing years topics.  It gives you the core competencies you will need to develop to become an effective leader.  It will allow you to acknowledge what type of learner you are and what type of learner you would like to become.  This seminar will give you the essential skills to begin your journey of becoming the fantastic leader you truly are.
  • 360 °  Feedback - Managers at all levels in an organization from first line supervisors to executives often struggle to improve their personal effectiveness because they do not get timely and objective feedback on their performance.  We create customized multi-rater, or 360 °  feedback, instruments provide feedback to individuals on the competencies that are critical for their specific positions.
  • Learning Plan - Growth requires action.  Reaching the top of a mountain is achieved by taking one step at a time until the goal is reached.  You will understand how behavior change is accomplished and then be able to create a learning plan to guide your growth.
  • Accountability Groups - Are small peer groups made up of small business leaders along with a facilitator assigned to coordinate the discussion.  The group will have 6 to 10 group members that will discuss what you are learning, any questions that arise, and if there are any issues they are facing. 
ELECTIVES :

In addition to Core Activities, you will have 10 initial electives to use at your discretion.  You may choose to use those to utilize our exceptional consulting services, or to reach out and get one on one advising from one of our executive coaches.  You may also utilize your electives by attending our educational focus based seminars.

  • Seminars utilize 2 electives each
  • Coaching utilizes 1 elective per hour
  • Consulting utilizes 1 elective per hour
